Mother Daughter Metamorphosis Workshop

February 24 @ 18:30 - 20:30

Free

“The mother-daughter bond is designed by nature to become the most empowering, compassionate, and intimate relationship we’ll ever have. The magnitude of the impact of maternal lineage exploration cannot be overstated. Welcome to the work that heals all of us: Our mothers, our grandmothers, and all the women who came before us and who will come after us. Take a moment to imagine them, the ones you know and the ones you don’t, cheering you on, so grateful you’ve begun to inquire about this, and sending you love and support along the way. ”

– Christiane Northrup, M.D OB-Gyn

The mother-daughter relationship is the axis around which generations turn. When this bond transforms, it ripples outward, changing how we show up as women, mothers, daughters, leaders, and healers in every sphere of life.

We are certain any woman will find this workshop valuable. However, we believe it to be particularly relevant for women who resonate with any of the following:

  • You’re curious about connecting to your maternal lineage but don’t know how.
  • Your curious as to how to evolve your mother daughter relationship now that you’re both adults.
  • You feel stuck in old patterns together.
  • You wonder how to be more aware of and let go of generational patterns.
  • Talking about emotions or addressing misunderstandings together feels really difficult.
  • Actually resolving conflict effectively feels out of reach. We just “sweep it under the rug”.
  • Being vulnerable together feels awkward or unsafe.
  • I couldn’t imagine being fully honest with her about my life.
  • I feel judged / misunderstood. OR I’m concerned about being judged and misunderstood.

In this 2 hour workshop, we’re going deep.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  1. The natural metamorphosis cycle and how it applies to the adult mother-daughter relationship.
  2. Transgenerational inheritance and epigenetics.
  3. The maternal lineage on a cellular and molecular level.
  4. A meditative practice to directly connect to the maternal lineage.
  5. An introduction to a relational philosophy to support the evolution of your mother-daughter relationship.

Meet your facilitators

Hello! We are Kiley and Christy Hartigan – a mother-daughter duo of professionally certified, BetterUp Premier Fellow coaches. In 2021, we co-founded JourneyOn LLC. With more than 12 years, 400 clients, and 4000+ hours of direct client experience between us, we focus our skills on transforming relationships. We empower courageous women to bridge their divide with their mothers and/or daughters and evolve from old patterns so they can rejuvenate their sacred connection.

Our work begins with you as an individual woman, and how you relate with your mother-daughter relationship to begin with. So, whether your mother or daughter is available to do this work with you, we start at the same place with each woman. Meaning, they do not have to be ready to join you in this work for you to begin.

By investing in this work, you’re choosing to rewrite the story of your lineage.

We’ll see you soon.

Testimonials:

Shaun, age 50, both a mother and a daughter.

I gained a deeper understanding of how connected I am to my maternal lineage. Imagining the moment when my grandmother carried my mother—and within her, the egg that became me—was incredibly profound. I felt the generational tide of emotions and life flowing through us.

Today’s session was truly transformative. I learned a lot about myself, especially around boundaries. The focus helped me realize how important it is to reflect on the kind of love I choose—both for myself and for my daughter. As we continue to build and navigate our relationship, I now feel more aware of how to make that love stronger and healthier. Furthermore, I actually feel more prepared to discuss my own needs within our relationship. One of the most impactful takeaways was discovering greater self-love and forgiveness. I felt like I experienced real healing for my younger self, who had carried the weight of past trauma. It was deeply powerful and even a bit surprising to connect with all these parts of me I didn’t know were there.Thank you for the clarity, healing, and hope. I’m truly grateful.

Olivia, age 33, daughter.

I’ve come to see that the way my mom treats people—with respect and equality—has roots in her maternal lineage. It’s a dynamic I’ve experienced and now try to embody, especially as I become more aware of how these relational patterns impact my sense of peace and safety.

Ali, age 34, daughter.

The concept of maternal lineage really hit me while I was teaching my class. I imagined the presence of the students’ ancestors alongside them, which gave me a profound sense of responsibility and connection. It helped me see that their struggles and behaviors aren’t isolated—they are part of a much larger process shaped by generations of experience and care.
