About the Artists:

Samantha and Sara Emmitt are a sibling duo born and raised in the rocky foothills outside of Boulder, CO. The sisters offer a multi-genre musical experience, from a swoony mountain medicine vibe to a folk jam groove. They have a habit of tickling the tear ducts of audiences through their tender heart-opening lyrics and whimsical harmonies, with a side of truthful storytelling, achingly raw honesty and, of course, a little silliness and laughter sprinkled in. The sisters are often accompanied by their doting dad on the harmonica, giving an extra tug on the heart strings with his skillfully beautiful melodies. Offering a full human expression and experience, these embodied mountain women are sure to leave audiences feeling full and reminded of the profound connection that binds us all.

Their first album, Moon over Mountains was recorded at the Starhouse in Boulder, CO in 2018 and is a compilation of both of the sisters’ songs.

About your Hosts:

Kiley & Christy Hartigan are a mother-daughter team of relational life coaches who coach adult women to bridge the divide and rejuvenate their sacred connection with their mother and/or daughter.

In 2020, they co-founded their private practice, JourneyOn. Beyond the relational evolution they facilitate in their coaching, they are devoted to building and nourishing their community by hosting traditional ceremonies led by Indigenous elders, events like this, and mother-daughter metamorphosis workshops.

May this event facilitate a space and an experience where we can all fall more deeply in love with life, ourselves, each other, and our earth. You can find out more about what we do here.

Capacity and Carpooling:

There are only 16 parking spots available. Please try to avoid bringing large vehicles like trucks. Do not drive your car here alone. Find a friend to ride up with and reach out to us in advance if you need help finding a carpool buddy. This event will work best if everyone arrives with 2-4 people per vehicle. This is also a good reason to arrive early. First come first serve for parking, we have secondary options available further down the driveway once our driveway fills up. However, we sincerely aim to not have overflow.

Our Max Capacity for this event is 40 people.

Once tickets sell out, they sell out, we don’t have unlimited space. Plus, who likes crowded events? We don’t.

We are betting on it not being crappy weather this evening, by being outside, it expands the comfortable capacity of the home / property. If the weather is bad, we’ll move indoors, and it’ll be cozy.

Join our events whatsapp thread to connect with others who are attending the event.

Notes:

  • Alcohol will not be provided. You are welcome to bring your own, but please enjoy such beverages responsibly. We will have a very low tolerance for drunkeness. This philosophy goes for any substances you chose to enjoy.
  • Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. We reserve the right to ask you to put them in your vehicle if they get disruptive.
  • This is a family-friendly event, please purchase a ticket for anyone 15+. Kids 15 years old and under are welcome to come for free (so long as they arrive with you in your vehicle).

Join us for an evening filled with melody, laughter, and the magic of midsummer. Let the music carry you away and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We look forward to celebrating with you under the summer sky!
