Will Thomas

William Thomas is a singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist. A Colorado native, he has lived a life blessed with music and mountains; practice, community, and prayer. He recently received his undergraduate degree from Naropa University, where he studies music, writing, and religious studies. He believes there is profound alchemical capacity in conscious art and performance. Will is the front man of the Boulder-based folk-rock band River Mann and the co-founder of The Wheel Art Collective, an arts LLC emphasizing contemplative creativity, artistic alchemy and meaningful work.
Drawing influence from his study of wisdom traditions, his deep love of poetry and literature, and his own practice; William cultivates what he hopes are authentic and healing transpersonal spaces within his music.

Trace & Baerd

Trace Hybertson and Adam Baerd met at an enchanted forest party in the mountains. Yes, really. Celtic, Americana, Scandinavian, Bluegrass, Jazz, Magic, it’s all there. They love to write. They love to improvise. They just love to play. They think you’ll love it too. You can learn more at Adam’s website.

About your Hosts:

Kiley & Christy Hartigan are a mother-daughter team of relational life coaches, co-founders of JourneyOn, and are devoted to building and nourishing community and healing the chasm of separation in our modern world. May this event and all our events facilitate a space and an experience where we can all fall more deeply in love with life, ourselves, each other, and our earth. You can find out more about what we do here.

Contribution:

Welcome to our contribution strategy to offer flexibility and structure simultaneously. We understand that our financial capacity to contribute ebbs and flows. We aim to make our events as accessible as possible while also making them sustainable and creating a wonderful experience for us all, building a momentum for community gatherings. Believe us, these events are not making anyone an income. They are truly designed to support sustainable community connection and creativity – which, in todays economy, does cost something.

For this event we have created tiered contribution options:

    • Plant the Seed: $25
      • Take care of the bare basics: Pay the musicians a base amount, have the event not be a financial loss for the hosts / production team / musicians.
    • Nourish the Seed: $35
      • Taking care of the basics (25)
      • Hiring key team members: The additional $10 goes towards paying key team-members that support the musicians like a sound professional and videographer, video editor, and contributing to the venue/hosting/behind-the-scenes admin/coordinating costs. This will enable us to create valuable digital assets (recordings and video footage) for the musicians so they can continue to promote their magic and book more gigs.
    • Help it Grow: $45
      • Take care of the basics (25)
      • Hiring key team members (10)
      • Allow these events to become sustainable: An additional $10 contributed to our event-sustainability fund. Help us be able to invest in events like this in the future, which includes creating a fund to book talent and hire professional support in advance. This contribution ensures the quality of our events continues and gives you confidence we’ll be able to continue hosting beautiful and nourishing community gatherings.
    • Feed the Soil: $55
      • Take care of the basics (25)
      • Hiring key team members (10)
      • Allow these events to become sustainable (10)
      • Lift each other up: An additional $10 contributed towards our community-support fund. This is a sponsorship fund specifically to support our community members who are in a financial tight spot so they can still attend events and we can still cover costs. As this fund grows, so too will its potential for impact, from helping community members attend small scale events like these to our larger, multi-day retreats. This goes a long way, because often when we’re in financial hard spots we’re in most need for community connection.

Capacity and Carpooling:

There are only 16 parking spots available. Please try to avoid brining large vehicles like trucks. Do not drive your car here alone. Find a friend to ride up with and reach out to us in advance if you need help finding a carpool buddy. This event will work best if everyone arrives with 2-4 people per vehicle. This is also a good reason to arrive early. First come first serve for parking, we have secondary options available further down the driveway once our driveway fills up. However, we sincerely aim to not have overflow.

Our Max Capacity for this event is 50 people.

Once tickets sell out, they sell out, we don’t have unlimited space. Plus, who likes crowded events? We don’t.

We are betting on it not being crappy weather this evening, by being outside, it expands the comfortable capacity of the home / property. If the weather is bad, we’ll move indoors, and it’ll be cozy.

Join our events whatsapp thread to connect with others who are attending the event.

Notes:

  • Alcohol will not be provided. You are welcome to bring your own, but please enjoy such beverages responsibly. We will have a very low tolerance for drunkeness. This philosophy goes for any substances you chose to enjoy.
  • Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. We reserve the right to ask you to put them in your vehicle if they get disruptive.
  • This is a family friendly event, please purchase a ticket for anyone 15+. 15 years old and under are welcome to come for free (so long as they arrive with you in your vehicle).

Join us for an evening filled with melody, laughter, and the magic of midsummer. Let the music carry you away and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We look forward to celebrating with you under the summer sky!
