About the Artists:

Huaira is a Mestiza woman from Quito, Ecuador. She is a mother, vision-quester, sun-dancer, singer, musician, and multi-disciplinary artist. Her first musical teachings come from a school of jazz, latin-jazz, and world fusion music she has seamlessly integrated into her performance and creative process.

Along her path, she has discovered a deep calling to the research of ancient knowledge, chants, and ceremonies from native cultures, which has developed into a 9 year long relationship with master plants, and a new path devoted to healing modalities and sacred ceremonial teachings.

~~~
With over a decade of international acoustic music experience behind him, Captures is a cross-discipline artist who combines his own electronic music productions with live instrumental performance.
Using found sound, synthetic, live, and organic textures, Captures creates a blend of sonic experiences from the studios and dance-floors of Berlin to creative spaces Worldwide. Influenced by styles ranging from down-beat, trip-hop, deep house, ambient, and ceremonial music, Captures invites more than just the music itself, but a deeper look into the bridge between performance, vibration, spirit, and process.
 ~~
Together, Huaira & Captures seamlessly blend deep, soulful, electronic music with ancestral vibrations using modern tools. They combine moments of improvisation, deep produced beats, and sound journeys that often leave the audience speechless. You’ll experience a unique musical space to dream, reflect, wonder, and recognize your own truth and essence; a space that reflects to the listener their own unique path.
About your Hosts:
Kiley & Christy Hartigan are mother-daughter relationship coaches, co-founders of JourneyOn, and are devoted to building and nourishing community to heal the chasm of separation in our modern world. May this event and all our events facilitate a space and an experience where we can all fall more deeply in love with life, ourselves, each other, and our earth. You can find out more about our offerings here.
Contribution:
Welcome to our contribution strategy to offer flexibility and structure simultaneously. We understand that our financial capacity to contribute ebbs and flows. We aim to make our events as accessible as possible while also making them sustainable and creating a wonderful experience for us all, building a momentum for community gatherings. Believe us, these events are not making anyone an income. They are truly designed to support sustainable community connection and creativity – which, in todays economy, does cost something.
For this event we have created tiered contribution options:
    • Plant the Seed: $40
      • Take care of the bare basics: Pay the musicians a base amount, have the event not be a financial loss for the hosts / production team / musicians.
    • Water the Seed: $50
      • Taking care of the basics
      • Hiring key team members: The additional $10 goes towards paying key team-members that support the musicians like a sound professional and videographer, video editor, and contributing to the venue/hosting/behind-the-scenes admin/coordinating costs. This will enable us to create valuable digital assets (recordings and video footage) for the musicians so they can continue to promote their music and book more gigs.
    • Help it Grow: $75
      • Take care of the basics
      • Hiring key team members
      • Invest in the musicians: An additional $25 goes directly to the musicians for them to continue spreading their magic and medicine.
    • Nourish the Soil: $100
      • Take care of the basics
      • Hiring key team members
      • Invest in the musicians
      • Allow these events to become sustainable and more accessible: An additional $25 will be contributed towards our Soil Fund. This is a fund specifically used for hosting indigenous wisdom carriers from around the world who would otherwise not be able to travel here. Additionally, this fund is available to support our community members who are in a financial tight spot so they can still attend events and we can still cover costs. As this fund grows, so too will its potential for impact.
Capacity and Carpooling:
There are only 16 parking spots available. Please try to avoid brining large vehicles like trucks. Do not drive your car here alone. Find a friend to ride up with and reach out to us in advance if you need help finding a carpool buddy. This event will work best if everyone arrives with 2-4 people per vehicle. This is also a good reason to arrive early. First come first serve for parking, we have secondary options available further down the driveway once our driveway fills up. However, we sincerely aim to not have overflow.
Our Max Capacity for this event is 40 people.
Once tickets sell out, they sell out, we don’t have unlimited space. Plus, who likes crowded events? We sure don’t.
Join our events whatsapp thread to connect with others who are attending the event.
Notes:
  • Alcohol will not be provided. You are welcome to bring your own, but please enjoy such beverages responsibly. We will have a very low tolerance for drunkeness. This philosophy goes for any substances you chose to enjoy.
  • Please No dogs (This is an updated policy based on experience from recent events).
  • This is a family friendly event, please purchase a ticket for anyone 15+. 15 years old and under are welcome to come for free (so long as they arrive with you in your vehicle).
Join us for an evening filled with magic. Let the music carry you away and create memories that will last a lifetime.
We look forward to celebrating with you under the autumn sky!
